The Ocean Literacy Network is a wide-ranging, collaborative, and de-centralized effort by scientists and educators to build a more ocean literate society.

An important effort of the Network is the education of our K-12 students in ocean sciences. The Network has developed two consensus documents that comprise the Ocean Literacy Framework, Ocean Literacy: The Essential Principles of jerseys for sales Ocean Sciences K-12 (also known as the Ocean Literacy Principles) and the complementary Ocean Literacy Scope and Sequence for Grades K-12 (also referred to as the Scope and Sequence).
